Ameann DeJohn Biography

Ameann DeJohn, Market Development Consultant for Dermatrends' Cosmetics & Dermatrology Division, is the former President of Sampar Paris, and GM for Guinot West. She was recruited to Guinot’s California headquarters from upstate New York specifically to increase Thibiant’s market penetration from the West Coast into the Midwest, solidifying Guinot as a world leader in skin care. She had previously been founder, owner and CEO of Luxe Spa in Rochester New York. The mission of Luxe Spa is to be a refuge for health, beauty.

DeJohn has also served as Consultant and Trainer for hundreds of top spas across the US on all aspects of the skin care business including pay programs, incentives, product knowledge, design and layout of facilities, inventory control, personnel recruitment and management. DeJohn Consulting has presented at national conferences and is an author for trade publications, newspapers and television on skin care and the spa industry.

Before these two proprietorships, DeJohn served as Spa Director for largest day spa Rochester, NY., The Face Place. DeJohn entered the industry after graduating from Pace University as Manager of Prescriptives, a division of Estee Lauder, Bloomingdales, 59th Street, NY, NY. In that role she provided skin care and makeup expertise including advising the NY office in developing custom blend formulas for foundation and powder to cover all skin types. She was recognized with multiple awards as the top Beauty Analyst and highest retail producer.

Ms. DeJohn is an active author, speaker and consultant for top beauty and skin care manufacturers and salons.
