About Our Technology

Dermatrends, Inc. has perfected a hydroxide-releasing agent (HRA) transdermal enhancer technology. Today, our proprietary delivery system includes an elegant drug-in-adhesive patch that utilizes our proprietary enhancer along with the compound to be delivered through the skin.

The patented patch with enhancer system has shown delivery capabilities that include both hydrophilic and hydrophobic drugs. Our scientific team has shown remarkable success with both in vivo and in vitro tests. Lab studies have shown positive permeation results for more than 30 compounds, demonstrating our ability to deliver proven dosages on small molecule drugs as well as relatively large molecular weights in excess of any passive transdermal system commercially available today.
